The event drops fans in the world of Squid Game, where they will compete in a series of games inspired by the show. After completing six different games full of surprises and accumulating points, the winner is declared. The venue at 200 N. Fairfax Avenue will be transformed into sets and challenges inspired by Squid Game and Squid Game: The Challenge.

The menu was developed in collaboration with award-winning chef Katianna Hong of  Yangban and includes Bibimbap Dosirak with marinated beef, rice, vegetables and a quail egg with YANGBAN gochujang vinaigrette, Ramyun Noodles served chilled, tossed with scallions, crispy onions and Yangban rice seasoning and chili oil, Tteokbokki rice cakes in a spicy sauce garnished with perilla leaves, and Kalbi marinated grilled and chilled steak skewers in a Yangban kimchi hot sauce with ember oil drizzle.

Together with husband John, Hong is the chef and partner of Yangban, the Korean-American restaurant in the DTLA Arts District, which recently reopened after a complete overhaul of the interior space that now features a full-service dining room, and updated food and beverage programs.

Tickets are limited and prices will start at $39 per person and can be booked at squidgamethetrials.com. The Trials will not be as intense as the show, the experience still has physical elements and is built for guests ages 13 and older. Children under the age of 13 will not be admitted.
