84-Year-Old Male Passenger Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision near Arroyo Avenue

MOJAVE, CA (February 21, 2024) Sherry Adams and Nathan Reyes were involved in a deadly two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon, on Highway 14. The incident occurred at approximately 3:32 a.m., near Arroyo Avenue on February 16th.

According to reports, a 2018 Mitsubishi sedan driver made a left turn into the Stater Brothers parking lot while traveling south on the freeway. Subsequently, a sedan traveling in the opposite direction collided with the Mitsubishi.

Emergency medical personnel on the scene pronounced the 84-year-old male passenger of the Mitsubishi deceased.

The driver of the Mitsubishi was later identified as 53-year-old Sherry Marie Adams from Lancaster, and the Infiniti driver was identified as 53-year-old Nathan Reye from California City.

Mojave Officials are currently urging witnesses of the fatal collision to contact the CHP Mojave at (661) 823-5500.
