Model Elizabeth Pipko is LA’s Now Magazine’s August cover star. The model, who is also an author and media personality, appears on the cover of the Los Angeles based magazine looking incredible in a chain-link and crystal handmade top with nothing underneath. The model also posed in a Cinq a Sept dress and Patbo one piece bodysuit in the feature.

The August issue, photographed by celebrity photographer, Craig Ambrosio, was perfectly titled “Different Directions” as the model discussed her different ambitions and the multiple directions she is being pulled in her life. After highlighting her recent graduation from the School of Social Policy & Practice at the University of Pennsylvania, Pipko was asked about her future plans when she gave a very surprising answer: food.

The model seemed elated to discuss her passion for restaurants and cooking, and her goal to continue her culinary studies which she says she began during the start of the pandemic in 2020 with a six-month professional cook certification program. She even shared one of her favorite pasta recipes with the magazine, and discussed the theme for the restaurant she hopes to open one day.

Pipko also spoke about her recent viral Holocaust remembrance project titled, Lest People Forget, and the impact that she hopes it will have, specifically on the younger generation. She told the magazine, “I created Lest People Forget so that we could encourage young people to not only get involved in the preservation of the history of the Holocaust but inspire them to lead the way on this effort. As technology becomes more and more innovative, we know that young people will be at the forefront of its utilization. So, the added feature of decentralized technology in this conversation not only accomplishes the goal of preserving Holocaust materials, but it accomplishes the goal of putting the responsibility onto young people to continue to share this history, something many unfortunately don’t know very much about.”

The model also hit on the pressures of being a woman in the spotlight, and on her efforts to empower young women looking up to her. Pipko stressed how she has been impacted by the efforts of many to “put her in a box,” something she says happens to most women, but something she is proud to fight against.

“You can be a young woman and you can proudly do, think, wear, say, and feel anything that you want” she firmly told the magazine.

In a recent interview with the Digital Journal, Pipko emphasized a similar point, telling the outlet, “People always seem incredibly curious about what it is that I want to do with my career. As if they’ve never seen a young woman just want to succeed in every opportunity that comes her way.”

With this August issue Pipko joins many high-profile women who have previously graced the cover of Now Magazine including Montana Tucker, Pia Wurtzbach, and Joy Corrigan.
