Man Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Accident near Camino Del Arroyo

SAN DIEGO, CA (September 8, 2023) – Early Saturday morning, one man was killed in a pedestrian collision on Camino de la Reina.

The incident occurred around 1:50 a.m., near Camino de la Reina on September 2nd.

According to reports, the driver of a 2003 Chevrolet Spark struck a 27-year-old man who was pushing a cart mid-block outside of a marked crosswalk.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the male pedestrian with serious head injuries dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their identity.

Meanwhile, the 27-year-old Chevy driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
