Man Fatally Struck, Woman Injured in Head-On Accident near Westpark Tollway
HARRIS COUNTY, TX (May 13, 2024) – One man was killed early Monday, and a woman was hospitalized after a head-on crash at the 6700 block of Highway 6.
The incident occurred at approximately 6:00 a.m., just south of the Westpark Tollway on May 6th.
According to investigators, a green Dodge Charger was speeding in the northbound lanes when it abruptly changed lanes and crashed head-on into an SUV.
Emergency responders arrived to free two individuals trapped in the vehicles.
Despite attempts to save him, the male Dodge driver was declared deceased by medics. His identity and residence have not been disclosed by authorities.
Meanwhile, the female SUV driver was taken to the hospital for treatment of severe injuries. An ongoing investigation is underway to gather additional information. Further details will be shared as they become available.
