50-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle-SUV Collision near Robertson Avenue

CARMICHAEL, CA (May 23, 2024) – One man died late Saturday morning, in a 2-vehicle collision on Walnut and Robertson Avenue.

Police officers responded to the scene around 11:00 a.m., near Carmichael. The rider a motorcycle traveling at high rates of speed collided an Acura SUV that was turning left onto Robertson.

Due to the extent of his condition, first responders declared the 50-year-old man riding the motorcycle deceased.

Additionally, the woman driving the SUV was unharmed in the collision. Investigators noted that the motorcyclist was not wearing any protective gear.

No further details about the two-vehicle crash on Walnut Avenue have been released to the public. Sacramento County officials will provide more information as it becomes available.
