75-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Head-On Crash near Rogers Road

SAN ANTONIO, TX (May 22, 2024)Isabel Sanchez was killed Friday afternoon in April, in a head-on crash on Culebra and Rogers Road.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m., on April 26th.

Officers report that the collision involved a white sedan driven by 75-year-old Sanchez and a black sedan. Sanchez was making a turn when the black sedan collided head-on with her vehicle. The force of the impact caused her car to spin multiple times and crash into another vehicle.
 
Emergency responders quickly transported Sanchez to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. There, she succumbed to her injuries shortly after being admitted.
 
The driver of the black sedan sustained only minor injuries. No charges have been filed against the driver at this time, and no further updates are available.
