35-Year-Old Woman Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Accident near East Empire Avenue

SPOKANE, WA (February 12, 2024)Gary Thompson was arrested Saturday night after a fatal pedestrian crash on North Morton Street and East Empire Avenue. Police officers responded to the scene around 7:00 p.m., on February 3rd.

According to reports, Thompson was behind the wheel when he collided with a 35-year-old woman crossing Empire Avenue. The impact propelled her into the path of a second vehicle.
