65-Year-Old Man Killed in Pedestrian Collision at Corporate Center Parkway

SANTA ROSA, CA (May 3, 2024) – One man died Saturday night, in a pedestrian collision at Challenger Way and Corporate Center Parkway. The incident occurred at approximately 9:00 p.m.

According to reports, a man running across the road was struck by the driver of a southbound gray Mazda SUV under circumstances that are currently unclear.

Emergency responders transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he was initially in critical condition but later stabilized. However, the 65-year-old man from Forestville passed away from his injuries eight days later.

Authorities have stated that the driver involved in the incident remained at the scene of the collision and cooperated with investigators.

The Sonoma County Coroner’s Office has not yet disclosed the identity of the deceased individual. Officials in Santa Rosa are urging any witnesses of the fatal pedestrian collision on Challenger Way to reach out to Officer Riley Howard at 707-543-8541.
