The three-day business event, featuring Sofia Vergara, will be held June 10-12 at the Oceanfront Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes
California isn’t just the epicenter for culture and entertainment – it’s also the country’s largest small business economy. In fact, as a whole, Los Angeles County is home to about one-third (1.3M) of the state’s small businesses and includes more women- and BIPOC-owned small businesses than any other county in the nation.
With this as the backdrop, the main character of L.A.’s own story is the entrepreneur. That is why Chase for Business is inviting business owners to join industry experts, celebrities such as Sofia Vergara and more, for the second-annual Make Your Move Summit event at the Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes.
The complimentary event, held June 10-12, will give attendees the opportunity to hear from top speakers in business and participate in breakout sessions specially curated to provide inspiration and tips on how to start, run and grow their business. Activities include:
June 10 – Welcome reception and summit kick-off, access to The Chase for Business Marketplace featuring giveaways from local California businesses and an exclusive performance by a special guest.
June 11 – A full day of programming with thought leaders, athletes and business owners, plus breakout sessions on topics such as:
- Designing Your Dream Career
- Economic Outlook
- Leading a Dream Team
- Small Business, Big Stories
- Telling Your Brand Story
- Leveraging Your Digital Marketing Plan
- Optimizing Your Social Media Presence
June 12 – Play with Purpose charity golf event on the par-3 oceanfront course where participants will have an opportunity to engage with celebrities by playing alongside and getting quick tips from the pros.
“The Make Your Move Summit is one of Chase for Business’ biggest events of the year and we’re thrilled to bring it to California this year,” said Ben Walter, CEO of Chase for Business. “We brought together nearly 1,000 business owners at least year’s event in Frisco, Texas and the feedback was fantastic, so we’re looking forward to another three days of networking and hearing from some of the brightest minds in business.”
