Tower Records Returns (For a Night): All Things Must Pass Premiere

Gravitas Ventures' Tower Records documentary All Things Must Pass premiered at the Harmony Gold Theatre in Hollywood on Oct. 15. Directed by Colin Hanks, the film chronicles the rise of Tower Records and its place in the music industry, eventually filing for bankruptcy in 2006. After the screening, a premiere party was held at the former 8801 Sunset Blvd. location now owned by Gibson. The original façade was re-created and painted onto the building for the night, and there was a performance by The Eagles of Death Metal. All photos by Mathew Tucciarone.
