This was the line at 10:30 am in front of Origami Vinyl in Echo Park for the chance to buy tickets to the “secret” Arcade Fire show. (A few minutes later the line was flipped around towards Silver Lake. Also, some hipster lady was complaining to a cop that someone jacked her bag and she was “too afraid to take a picture.”)

It's a nice snapshot of the Echo Park youth in 2011. Not a lot of black folk though. And the front guy (who had been there all night) was reading a copy of mopey self-educated classic Ishmael.
