LA Marathon Discount
In celebration of the marathon, the sbe Group will be running a one-day promotion wherein marathon participants who bring their 'bibs' will receive 26.2 percent off their entire bill. Spectators will receive a special dessert if they spent a minimum of $20 and they took photos in front of a participating restaurant and tweeted them to @sbecollection with the hashtag 'sbefoodie'.

Strawberry Fair at Mitsuwa
Mitsuwa Marketplace is holding its annual Strawberry Fair, which features fresh strawberries and strawberry-flavored sweets in the store. Fugetsu-do owner Brian Kito is scheduled to demonstrate how to make strawberry mochi for the crowd.

Tres Sietes Tequila Tasting
Tortilla Republic will host a tasting of Tres Sietes Tequila next Wednesday, which will be the second event in the tequila tasting series. A small menu of tapas — goat cheese stuffed re jalapeno, piloncillo bacon-wrapped scallops, tiritas de arrache, and mini tres leches cakes will be offered to pair with the tequila.
