And out of nowhere, as these things tend to happen, there's a new Biggest Band in the World (Of the Week), and its name is Glasvegas, who play Big, Important Rock to drive the music freaks crazy. The band, which is from Glasgow, Scotland, gig a sold-out show at the Troubadour tonight, and if you don't have a ticket you're SOL. The good news is that if you want to hear what the sound like live, tune into KCRW this morning on Friday, where Jason Bentley will be presenting an in-studio performance by the band. These usually start at around 11:15 am.
