Nothing says funky like Cold Chillin', the legendary hip hop imprint of the 80s and 90s that, in its prime, was one of the hottest labels in the country. During its remarkable eight year run, Cold Chillin' released classics by Biz Markie, Kool G Rap and DJ Polo, Marley Marl, Big Daddy Kane, Masta Ace, Roxanne Shante (!!!), Kid Capri and others. (The label is also responsible, indirectly, with unleashing the Wu-Tang Clan on the world; GZA released a solo album under his Genius moniker on Cold Chillin' two years before the founding of the Wu.)

As a way of acknowledging the label's status — and because the logo is totally hot — LA-based Stones Throw is getting into the vapors action with a new line of authorized Cold Chillin' T-shirts.

Of course, Cold Chillin's ace in the hole has always been the iconic Biz Markie, whose solo work — especially on the amazing I Need a Haircut — was weird, wonderful and totally bouncy. Nothing says 'I'm down' like a Biz tee.

They come in four colors: white, black, gray, and pink, and will be available at select retailers across the world in the weeks to come. (You can order them online here.) New colors and designs, will continue to arrive through the rest of the year.

Can we humbly suggest a Roxanne Shante line?

You may know Biz from his work on Yo Gabba Gabba. Now does it make sense?
