Remember Munch LA, that collection of food trucks that was supposed to gather at Fairfax High back in September? Well it was canceled pretty soon after it was announced. But the good news is that there is another — and wholly unrelated — Munch coming to another high school next month. On Saturday, November 13th, Agoura Munch Madness will be bringing more than a dozen trucks to Agoura High School, with all of them featuring tasting menus priced between two and five dollars.

The event, which lasts from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., will include a full slate of live music, dance presentations, a holiday boutique, and a hands-free eating contest. All proceeds for Agoura Munch Madness go toward Agoura High's much-acclaimed International Baccalaureate program, which is at serious risk of disbanding after state-wide budget cuts. All money raised will specifically be used for teacher training, lesson materials, and text books. Admission is $5 in advance, and $7 at the gate.
