Pedestrian Crash near College Boulevard Left 40-Year-Old Woman Injured

SAN DIEGO, CA (February 15, 2024) – Sunday evening, a hit-and-run collision on 54th Street sent a female pedestrian to a hospital. 

Police were called to the scene shortly after 6:00 p.m. at the 3000 block of 54th Street, near College Boulevard.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that an unidentified vehicle had struck the woman while she was standing in the no. 1 southbound lane. Subsequently, the driver fled the scene before authorities arrived.

Medical personnel who responded to the incident transported the 40-year-old woman to a hospital for the treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

At this time, authorities are actively working to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
