Kai Cenat, a 23-year-old American online streamer and YouTuber, announced on Instagram earlier this month that he was launching something called Streamer University.

“I’m excited to extend to you a most heartfelt welcome to the very first class of Streamer University. Here, you will find a school where chaos is encouraged and content is king,” he said in the Instagram video.

But it’s not quite clear what is actually included in Streamer University. Information on the website is sparse, and it seems that what is on there is misleading. At the top of the page, it reads: “At Streamer University, streamers of all backgrounds will have the opportunity to showcase their personalities as students, alongside both unrealized, upcoming and well-established creators.”

Yet Cenat has made it very clear that he will not actually be giving everyone that opportunity.

In a livestream video talking about the types of content creators he won’t admit to Streamer University, he came after OnlyFans creators and said they will never be allowed in.

“I think me saying you don’t have to be a streamer, people took that and ran with it. Tell me why there are OnlyFans n***as applying talking about how they stream. We’re not talking about streaming on OnlyFans. You can’t get in. I had to search that up, ‘Can you livestream on OnlyFans?’ Why do you think you livestreaming on OnlyFans gonna make you come into the Streamer University? How does that even make sense?”

It makes about as much sense as announcing a new university (ahem, conference?) without actually having speakers lined up, but Cenat is moving ahead anyway.

And so are Sophie Rain and the other members of the Bop House. The Bop House is a “digital collective” that Rain helped start for the women to support and cross-promote each other’s content online. The eight women in the house, whose ages range from 18 to 22, are active OnlyFans content creators and have millions of followers across multiple platforms.

And they didn’t take kindly to OnlyFans creators being excluded from Streamer University. Instead of trying to convince Cenat to accept OnlyFans creators, they decided to create their own version aptly named Bop University.

While the details of Bop University are sparse, but a few of the Bop House women recorded a TikTok for their official account (that has over 3.5 million followers) that made the announcement, complete with a dig at the “infamous 5’2″ streamer” who is behind Streamer University.

The women’s goal for Bop University is to create “an inclusive environment and community.” A community that will “not discriminate against bops” unlike Streamer University.

Discrimination is a word that came up often in Cenat’s comment section after his announcement about the exclusion of OnlyFans creators.

One user wrote: “Isn’t this supposed to be a learning opportunity? I think everyone knows how easy it is to turn on a camera and play with your Garfield.”

Another added:“Comes off like he’s afraid of someone with more popularity and more money than himself, honestly, that’s some brokeass energy right there, but we ik the simps for Kai will say otherwise tho.”

A third chimed in: “What’s wrong with OF females trying to apply?? this is an opportunity to grow, but Kai thinks just cause they do OF they are automatically a bad person.”

Cenat doesn’t seem to be changing his mind, so it looks like he will have to deal with some competition from the OnlyFans women he was so quick to dismiss.
