A valet at a West Hollywood nightclub was fatally shot early Monday after two groups of party-goers got into a fracas. The man was apparently not the target of the gunman. KNX 1070 Newsradio reports that two other people were wounded in the attack.

The shooting outside Guys & Dolls in the 8700 block of Beverly Boulevard was reported about 2:10 a.m., apparently after the club let out for the night, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. TMZ captured video of the violence.

The valet and a woman wounded in the attack were both taken to nearby Cedars Sinai Medical Center, which is within walking distance. The valet died there, according to KNX,

The club is often the source of late-night traffic on Beverly Boulevard as patrons line up to wait for their valet-parked cars. Sheriff's patrol cars are often seen outside or stopped in the boulevard's median.

Sheriff's deputies, who patrol West Hollywood, said they were searching for a black Bentley or Rolls-Royce with the partial license plate of 5783G.
