Ulike Hosts its Endless Summer Pop-Up in Santa Monica — Featuring Brianne Howey

Global beauty tech brand Ulike might have kicked off the summer season in the most iconic fashion. It hosted a four-day pop-up event, from June 20 to 23, at the Ocean Front Walk on the beautiful coast of Santa Monica. The perfect cherry on top was the beauty icon Brianne Howey making a special appearance. Ulike’s summer pop-up screamed innovation, exclusivity, and an undying passion for skincare, all of which are values the brand prides itself on.

To understand the event’s theme well, here’s some context. A number of beauty treatments were previously limited to the confines of salons or clinics, which meant they were either expensive or inaccessible for most women. Ulike’s mission is to revolutionize said treatments. By bringing salon-grade care to portable at-home devices, it wishes to redefine what taking care of oneself looks like. And the brand’s offerings are an attempt to fulfill its mission.

The pop-up spotlighted Air 10, Ulike’s latest IPL hair removal device, which promises a 96% reduction in hair density within a few weeks, and delivers these results nearly pain-free thanks to proprietary Ice Cooling tech. Thanks to a Fast Mode on the machine, Air 10 offers full-body treatments in just under 10 minutes. Air 3, the model preceding Air 10, was also for show. Joining the two IPL machines was the ReGlow LED Light Therapy Mask. Equipped with 272 LED lights, the mask can handle some of the most stubborn concerns: acne, wrinkles, and dullness.

Ulike’s pop-up offered visitors a strategically curated guided experience with the help of multi-sensory zones. It took them on a symbolic journey from a place of feelings of poor self-esteem to confidence and empowerment. Other attractions included a chilly tunnel replicating how Air 10’s Ice Cooling tech feels, a product experience zone to go hands-on with the company’s products, and free consultations with Ulike’s in-house doctors.

This pop-up was more than mere vanity. The venue, theme, celeb appearance, and set-up all pointed at one thing: boosting confidence and empowerment through beautiful and smooth skin. It only helped reiterate what Ulike stands for, which is making at-home care more enjoyable and effective, and helping women feel their best in their skin, both in intimate and public settings.
