We've all been to food truck festivals before, so announcing that another one is around the corner may not sound like it's all that exciting. But, what if we told you this upcoming festival also features a FREE wine and cocktail tasting? We imagine you're a bit more intrigued. (We sure were.)

Tomorrow, Thursday, November 18th, Jaxon Home in West L.A.'s Helms Bakery building will play host to “Trucking Through the Holidays,” a food truck festival featuring India Jones, Papa's Tapas and Ahn Joo (try the bacon-wrapped rice cylinders with jalapeño ponzu), to name a few.

But this gathering goes a bit beyond just grub on wheels.

It also features additional vendors inside the venue including Nicobella and their organic dark chocolate truffles as well as Sleepers Magic Rub, to name just a couple, with the complimentary wine and spirits tasting will be provided by Tisza Wine Co. The event is free to attend, but each of the food vendors is graciously donating its proceeds to the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank. Per the organizers, every dollar raised distributes $5 worth of food to those in need.

An R&B-spinning DJ will also be on hand.

So the free booze may draw you in, but the cause makes attending this event worthwhile. A full list of participants can be found here.
