Learn about Futurism, Surrealism and the development of French and Italian art in the 19th and 20th centuries by touring LACMA's collection, then heading to Surfas to sip wine and prepare a meal inspired by Salvador Dali's Les Diners de Gala and Filippo Tommaso Marinetti's Futurist Cookbook. After a February event that raised $3,000, the East L.A. Community Corporation is hosting another fundraiser with the money going to ELACC's efforts to legalize street vending.

Tour de Taste

This fundraiser for the Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition leads bicyclists on a 12-mile ride from Ballona Creek path to the beach and back to Culver City, where riders will nosh on food and drinks from Rush Street, Pace, Chipotle, Ammo, Larchmont Grill, New Belgium Beer and more.

Hudson House Birthday

To celebrate the Redondo Beach brewpub's third anniversary, chefs and owners Brooke Williamson and Nick Roberts are clearing out the parking lot and firing up the grill. In addition to freshly grilled meat and veggies, look for gourmet Jell-O shots (guava, kumquat tequila), a spicy cachaca mojito and a truck pouring hard-to-find brews.
