We know, that was so last year. But this hot-chick story has legs. In this case, we have Rachel Uchitel, the ground zero of Tiger Woods girls, the one who the National Enquirer cited as a mistress in its 2009 story that broke open the Woods-mistress scandal.
Except Uchitel seemed to game the media as well as we played her:
After the Woods scandal broke last year, the former Vegas club hostess hired Gloria Allred, scheduled a news conference, and then called it off, leading some to wonder if she was paid off.
This year Uchitel ended up on the reality show Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew and there were rumors that the 35-year-old would soon pose for Playboy.
Uchitel turned a bad year upside down and became one of the most successful of Woods' alleged ladies, proving you can really make the jump from tabloid tramp to D-level freak-show fodder TV star.
Dreams really do come true in Hollywood.
