Two Victims Killed in Speeding Collision on 65th Street

SACRAMENTO, CA (May 25, 2022) – Saturday morning, Tien Le and Binh Nguyen were fatally struck in a pursuit accident on Stockton Boulevard.

Police responded to the scene around 8:45 a.m., near the intersection of Stockton Boulevard and 65th Street.

Prior to the collision, officers attempted to perform a traffic stop on two vehicles that were traveling recklessly. Both vehicles led police on a chase for about half a mile.

Then, one of the vehicles crashed into an uninvolved car near Stockton Boulevard and 65th Street. Medical personnel pronounced Le and Nguyen dead at the scene, due to the extent of their injuries.

Meanwhile, paramedics transported the driver of the speeding car to a nearby hospital with major injuries.

At this time, the two reckless drivers remain unidentified. Sacramento Officials are asking anyone with information to contact (916) 808-5471.
