After weeks of speculation in the prediction market space, the partnership that matters has been announced. Polymarket, the world’s largest prediction market with over $8 billion in predictions made in 2024, has secured an exclusive partnership with X as the platform’s official Prediction Market Partner.
The announcement comes at a time when the prediction market industry has been abuzz with activity, and notably, some questionable claims. While competitors have made unsubstantiated announcements about partnerships that never materialized, Polymarket has quietly built the infrastructure and proven track record that made this genuine partnership possible.
“Combining Polymarket’s accurate, unbiased, and real-time prediction market probabilities with Grok’s analysis and X’s citizen journalism will enable us to provide contextualized, data-driven insights to millions of X and Polymarket users around the world instantaneously,” said Shayne Coplan, founder and CEO of Polymarket.
The integration launches today with a product that combines Polymarket predictions with X data to provide live insights, featuring real-time annotations explaining market moves directly from Grok and relevant X posts. This represents the first of what both companies describe as “a suite of integrations and unique experiences” planned for the partnership.
Linda Yaccarino, CEO of X, emphasized Polymarket’s established reputation: “Polymarket has established itself as a purveyor of truth by increasing transparency through its prediction markets, and has grown into a staple source of real-time information for many X users.”
Since launching in 2020, Polymarket has experienced tremendous growth, with billions of dollars’ worth of predictions already made on the platform in 2025. The partnership reinforces both companies’ shared commitment to free information, open markets, and a more transparent internet.
