Scare L.A., the area's first Halloween fan convention, celebrated its fifth year by moving to the L.A. Convention Center's spacious digs. After a day of monster makeup demos, VR experiences and celebrity meet-and-greets (the Crypt Keeper and American Horror Story's Naomi Grossman among them), the Spookeasy afterparty was held in the long-abandoned Clifton's Secret Shadowbox lounge. Interactive performers made the party a real tricky treat for all who made it through its haunted doors.
