The good news is football season is back and the L.A. Rams blew away the Chicago Bears 24 -10 last night. The sad news is SoFi Stadium, that hosted the game, made its debut with empty seats as the pandemic charges on. But that didn’t stop die-hard tailgaters like “Twilight” actress Ashley Greene from celebrating the home team win.

Greene, who recently partnered with 1800 Tequila, the new official tequila sponsor of Rams, hosted an outdoor tailgate party for eight of her closest friends at home in L.A. on Monday which included a custom Mariscos Jalisco truck and rounds of 1800 L.A. Ritas, the official L.A. Rams cocktail.

“My dad’s a tequila connoisseur and actually introduced me to 1800,” Greene, whose love for football is only matched by the agave spirit, tells L.A. Weekly. “I grew up loving football and everything it represents. My parents would always host football parties, so I think that’s where I get it from. Tailgating is in my blood. It was so exciting for me when the Rams came back to L.A. Right now, we have to find ways to re-calibrate during the pandemic and still find ways to enjoy each other. That said, there’s nothing like being in the stadium.”

Rams fans can get the same VIP tailgate experience at home with the 1800 Taco Tailgate sweepstakes, offering Los Angeles residents a chance to win the ultimate game day celebration at their doorstep. Six grand prize winners will get a doorstep delivery of 1800 Tequila cocktails and Mariscos Jalisco tacos to their residing address on game day until November 9th.

“It was a blast watching the Rams win big,” says Greene. “My husband and I had a feeling it was going to be a good game, so we were prepared with a full supply of tequila and tacos to help make our tailgate party one for the books. I shook up a few LA Ritas right before the fourth quarter, so we had a celebratory cheers when the clock ran out.“
