Are you ready for some jail time?

The boys in lockup love to play ball. But we don't think the jailers will let you watch Super Bowl 50.

Oh what a loser you'll be if you end up spending Sunday behind bars. (Kickoff is scheduled to be aired at 3:30 p.m. on CBS).

The Los Angeles Police Department and other local agencies will be on the lookout for Super Bowl weekend drivers who have had too much to drink.

“Being a sober, designated driver is a key role on Super Bowl Sunday,” the LAPD said in a statement. “You might just save a life.”

Here's your two-minute warning, via L.A. police and sheriff's officials:

-Tonight from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. a DUI checkpoint will be awaiting your arrival on Florence Avenue and Main Street in South Los Angeles.

-Tonight from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. a checkpoint will be running on Manchester Avenue and Main Street in — you guessed it — South L.A.

-Saturday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. extra police will be on the streets of the LAPD's Southwest Division area, which includes Baldwin Hills, Baldwin Village, the Crenshaw District, Exposition Park, Jefferson Park, Leimert Park, University Park, West Adams, and more. The department calls this kind of operation a “saturation patrol.”

-Sunday from 4 p.m. to midnight saturation patrols will strike in the LAPD's Central Bureau area, which includes downtown, the area just south of downtown, Boyle Heights, other parts of the Eastside, and the areas just west of downtown, including Westlake.

-Sunday from 4 p.m. to midnight a saturation patrol will hit the LAPD's Wilshire Division area, which includes all or parts of Carthay Circle, the Fairfax District, Hancock Park, Larchmont Village, Little Ethiopia, Mid-City, Miracle Mile, South Carthay, Wilshire Center, Wilshire Vista, and more.

-Sunday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. a saturation patrol will grace the streets of the LAPD's Southeast Division area, which includes Watts, Harbor Gateway and parts of South L.A.

-Sunday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. the LAPD's North Hollywood Division area will be the target of a saturation patrol.

-Sunday “during and following the game” sheriff's deputies will engage in a DUI saturation patrol in the city of West Hollywood, according to a sheriff's statement.

Be safe.
