Several Hospitalized in Hit-and-Run Accident on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard

LOS ANGELES, CA (November 15, 2022) – Saturday night, Steven Weems was arrested following a hit-and-run crash on Trinity Street.

The incident happened just after 8:20 p.m. near the 3830 block of Trinity Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

According to police, they attempted to pull over a Porsche Cayenne SUV that was driven by 23-year-old Weems. Weems did not pull over and instead drove through a carnival barricade, injuring six people in the process.

First responders arrived at the scene and transported the injured victims to a local hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, police arrested Weems and booked him on a felony hit-and-run charge. He is being held on a $50,000 bail.

At this time, the identities of the injured victims are not available. Additionally, police have not released any further details regarding the hit-and-run crash. However, officials will provide more information once it becomes available.
