L.A. news hounds were abuzz Monday over CBS2 reporter Serene Branson's stand-up meltdown outside the Grammy Awards at Staples Center.

Her wrap-up Grammy report for the station, caught on video (after the jump), ended with a jumble of nonsensical words. Gawker on Monday surmised that she might have had an on-air stroke, but CBS2 released a statement indicating that wasn't the case.

The station says:

“Serene Branson was examined by paramedics on scene immediately after her broadcast. Her vital signs were normal. She was not hospitalized. As a precautionary measure, a colleague gave her a ride home and she says that she is feeling fine this morning.”
