Scott Handley, who was born and brought up in Fresno, CA, is the owner operator of Western Pioneer Financial and Properties. Western Pioneer is a multi-dimensional company that offers real estate services and mortgage loans. The company has quickly grown to 50 employees with no end in sight.
Scott Handley is a serial entrepreneur that has grown several companies to seven figure revenues. He wants to be known in public as a CEO, businessman, Father, Husband.
There is an interesting story related to what brought him to this specific career path. The name Western Pioneer came from his grandfather’s insurance company. After their family was taken into the internment camps during World War his grandfather sold insurance services to Japanese Americans that were having a hard time getting insurance due to racial discrimination.
The company was started in 2008 during the recession. Scott always had a vision and as others were jumping out of the business he dove right in and has organically grown it to where it is at today. This makes the company stand out from others.
First and foremost is understanding your “why“. Writing down your goals and getting better every day. Having a long-term vision. This is a tip which Scott Handley would recommend to his colleagues in the industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out’’.
His grandparents, parents, and his Wife are the people to whom he his grateful towards as they are the ones who helped him being successful. They have always encouraged him to follow his passion and dreams.
He has helped many families achieve the dream of home ownership. He build his clients’ trust by meeting them face to face whenever possible.
His favourite “Life Lesson Quote” is that ‘’you miss 100% of the shots you do not take. You must keep trying and never give up.’’
For the first 10 years of his company he played too small. He also relied on others who didn’t have the same vision as his. He has the attitude ‘’if it’s going to be it’s up to me’’ so he took the bull by its horns and decided to grow.
He wants to build a company culture that focuses on personal development for each team member to be the best they can be and reach their full potential. Western Pioneer is a multi-dimensional company that also has real estate holdings.
He aims to grow the brand Western Pioneer and to grow his personal brand too. Growing his company to have over 100 team members is one milestone he wants to achieve.
