One Unidentified Motorcyclist Fatally Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision near Crestway Road

CONVERSE, TX (March 25, 2024) – One rider died early Thursday morning in a head-on motorcycle crash on Gibbs Sprawl Road. The incident occurred at approximately 12:40 a.m., near Crestway Road on March 14th.

The rider of a motorcycle collided head-on with a four-door sedan in the area, under investigation for the reasons behind the incident. The impact ejected the rider from the motorcycle, resulting in life-threatening injuries. Paramedics responding to the scene declared the motorcyclist deceased. However, the police have yet to disclose the identity or residency of the rider.

Emergency crews confirmed that the driver of the sedan was not intoxicated. No charges have been filed against them, according to investigators. To facilitate clearing operations, the Converse Police Department temporarily closed the surrounding roadway.
