It’s common for actors, directors, and that ilk to thank God in their award acceptance speeches. It’s less common to see OnlyFans stars thank God for all their money, but that’s what 20-year-old Sophie Rain did in a recent interview. The content creator has millions of followers on social media and makes millions of dollars from the adult content creation platform OnlyFans.
And she insists that all the credit goes to God.
In a recent interview, she said: “I have a very close relationship with my church and I love God. I believe that he will forgive your sins for anything, and I think that he’s happy that I’m successful.”
When asked about that relationship with church and if she attends regularly, Rain admitted that she doesn’t get to go in person often these days.
“I do a little video call because I’m currently living in Miami, but I used to live in Tampa, and that’s my home church,” she explained. “I love that church so much and… my pastor that is there. I can’t listen to another pastor. It’s so nice because I don’t have to be there to listen to the Word of God. I can listen to it from my phone.”
The reason she is currently living in Miami is because she now lives in a digital collective content creation house that she founded with her cousin known as the Bop House. The house is really a five-bedroom, six-bathroom mansion in Miami where eight women, whose ages range from 18 to 22, live and collaborate to create content for their millions of followers. Amongst the group, the collective social media presence is well over 34 million followers and counting.
On their social media platforms, the women stick to content that is technically SFW (safe for work), including viral dances, interactive games, and interviews. But the goal is to drive followers to OnlyFans where they will become subscribers — and get the more explicit content.
However, Rain insists that her content stays aligned with her Christian faith. “Essentially, there’s just this big misconception on OnlyFans that you are labeled as a porn star, but I’m still a virgin. I keep my content on OnlyFans very reserved, and you can still make money from doing all of these things.”
But isn’t she tempted to reveal more and make even more money? Rain says no, citing her personal values and morals.
“Having personal boundaries is the biggest thing,” she explained. “You have got to have morals or else you’re going to get lost in the industry. That’s just what happens. It’s really easy to listen to what someone else says and listen to them and try to follow what they do, but you have got to stay true to yourself.”
Rain isn’t planning on taking things more X-rated and believes that she has more to offer than just her body. She shared in an interview: “I see myself more of the girl next door who happens to have an OnlyFans. I’m so lucky to be where I am and I know this is not normal to be earning 50 million dollars.”
