The content creator returned home after the Superbowl to find the home she shares with fellow OnlyFans creators had been broken into.
OnlyFans model and content creator Sohie Rain is still shaken following a home invasion incident at the Fort Lauderdale residence she shares with fellow young content creators. On Monday, February 10th, Rain and her fellow housemates returned home around 3:00 PM from New Orleans where they’d been attending the Superbowl, to find a broken window and a shirtless man descending the staircase. The young man claimed that he was their landlord, as he’d just purchased the property.
The young women responded accordingly, and contacted the authorities to report a burglary in process. When the police arrived, the suspect refused to leave the premesis, resulting in the necessary involvement of the SWAT team, and professional negotiators to remove the man from the premises without physical harm being caused to any of the involved parties. The suspect was eventually subdued, and taken into custody without further noteworthy incidents.
His identity has been revealed as one Connor James Litka, a 22-year-old from Texas, and further background on Litka has shown law enforcement that this isn’t the first time he’s displayed behavior that suggests his disregard for the law. In February of 2024, Litka was arrested in Louisville, Kentucky, after attempting to purchase a luxury vehicle with a fraudulent $78 million check, and was charged with criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct in that incident. For this most recent episode, Litka is charged with the burglary of an unoccupied dwelling, resisting an officer without violence, and providing false information to law enforcement.
A surveillance review clearly shows footage of Litka scaling a side fence and using what resembles a rock to shatter the window of a glass door in order to gain entry into the Fort Lauderdale home. He is currently being held on a $51,000 bond, and if released he is to avoid all contact with the victim, and must consent to wear a GPS monitor.
The residence that Litka broke into is also famously known as the Bop House, and is home to eight OnlyFans models, including multi-millionaire Sophie Rain. This is not the first time that Rain and the members of the Bop House have had their personal security threatened, as they only recently moved into the Fort Lauderdale location after a similar occurrence at their previous residence in Miami. Fans and subscribers found out the location of their home and showed up at the residence uninvited, causing concerns for safety, and ongoing emotional distress.
The nature of being a content creator on OnlyFans often necessitates building parasocial relationships with a loyal fan following. While it’s not a common occurrence, with parasocial relationships comes a very real risk of a subscriber buying more into the relationship than what is given with subscription access. While it is up to each individual content creator to ensure their own physical safety, platforms like OnlyFans have a large enough financial base to be able to invest more resources into providing more stringent security resources for the content creators that bring subscribers to the adults-only platform. It is worth nothing that other large platforms have enacted policies that work to protect their content creators. Given the intimate nature of what most content creators share with their subscribers on OnlyFans, we hope to see an increased focus on their security endeavors in the near future to help prevent further incidents like the break-in at the Bop House.
