When is it okay to hit a woman? According to Real Xtreme Fighting (RXF), when it’s three versus two and the men don’t have the same protective gear as the women. The full-contact MMA (mixed martial arts) fight took place in Romania recently, and people around the world were outraged after hearing about the three female models — two are most known for Instagram while the third thrives on the subscription-based platform OnlyFans — that were beaten to a pulp by the two professional male fighters.
The three models, Alicia Bonita, Denisa Costea, and Maria Adriana, agreed to fight the professional fighters, Costica Prisecaru and Sebastian Rechinu, for reasons that still remain unclear.
The three women dressed in white from head to toe and made a grand entrance, complete with a choreographed dance routine before the fight began. And once it started, it did not last long. The two men completely overwhelmed the women with a flurry of kicks and punches. It only took seconds for one of the men to corner and knock Denisa to the floor while the other man handled the other two models.
The official fight lasted only three minutes, though Adriana attacked one of the men after the final bell, getting in a few more hits. She may have been angry after being kicked in the stomach, as she seemed to be in a lot of pain.
This isn’t Adriana’s first time in the octagon with RFX. She has previously won an all-star event with the company, though that event was not nearly as controversial as this one, which has people commenting all over social media in outrage.
“Why is this allowed?” one user asked, while another wrote, “This is disgusting. How does something like this get approved?!”
Another wrote: “RXF needs to be banned in Romania, their fights are totally immoral, I’ve seen once a RXF fight between a handicapped woman and handicapped man. Or men beating women, these fights are disgusting and should cease to exist.”
More than one user shared: “Disgusting behaviour.”
While those users seemed legitimately concerned for the women, others like infamous influencer and alleged rapist Andrew Tate shared their less than generous thoughts. Tate shared what seems to be a sarcastic comment reading “Welcome to Romania!” accompanied by a smiley face, while another added, “Why not one normal guy against three professional women fighters? Those chicks probably just got their nails done.”
The Romanian mixed martial art promotion company has faced backlash for similar intergender events like this in the past, including one that featured two women against one man. And while some fans defend events like this as “entertainment” — some even going as far as to suggest that intergender MMA should become a new sport — most people are more concerned about the fairness and safety of such events.
