Kayla Jade East is a successful OnlyFans creator who managed to keep her children hidden from the internet until she was doxxed by other moms in a Facebook group. The 30-year-old has a large social media following with over 2 million followers on TikTok and until recently, no one knew she had children. That’s because she had kept them secret because she wanted to protect them and keep her public and private life separate.

She shared about the decision to finally open up and share the truth with the public in a TikTok video, and a recent podcast interview.

“About six months ago, I saw a thread online of people discussing my children,” she began before revealing it was a Facebook mom’s group.

“Facebook mums group and gossip groups sharing private information about my kids and myself, pretty much doxxing me, which was such a surprise to me because I guess on my platform, I’m all about women supporting women.

“To see that women were putting their fucking tea in front of chidlren’s safety, that just broke my heart,” East continued tearfully. “My children’s lives are not your tea. I shouldn’t have to tell this side of my story but because people wanted to see the drama, they wanted to see the tea, now I’m here talking about it.”

East was so upset because she had worked hard to keep her children out of her content, unlike some influencers who use their children as content. Even though the rumors had swirled for a while that she had children, she managed to keep it quiet until recently.

And that’s why she was so upset. She wanted to keep her children safe because she knows how dangerous parasocial relationships can be. And the fact that she was forced to reveal that she is a mother is proof of that danger. So many people were demanding answers in the comment sections of her social media content, as well as discussing her and her children in those Facebook groups and Reddit threads that she felt like she had no choice but to reveal them.

In the TikTok video, she said: “Yes, the rumours are true. I am a mum to two beautiful kids I’m really proud of. This isn’t about me; it is about keeping them safe. I’m in a high-risk industry with a large public platform.”

East also has ethical concerns about her children being online. She argued that children aren’t able to consent to it, therefore it’s just another reason to keep them offline and out of her content — even the basic lifestyle posts she makes.

The truth is that East just wanted to be a good mom and keep her kids safe. But the constant demands and the rumors that if she was a mom and chose not to share her children online that she must either be a mad mother, or not have custody of them was too much for her.

Don’t worry though. While East has admitted to being a mother, she has also committed to not sharing her children’s identities or photos — no matter how much people want to know.
