Sedan vs Big Rig Accident at Hidden Valley Road Resulted in One Fatality

BLYTHE, CA (November 22, 2022) – Saturday evening, one victim was killed in a head-on collision involving a big-rig on US 95. 

The deadly accident occurred around 6:57 a.m., near Hidden Valley Road in the area of Blythe. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a sedan and a big-rig collided head-on for reasons currently under investigation. 

At this time, the total number of vehicles and the names of the people involved remain undisclosed. Due to the impact of the collision, one victim sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by responding authorities. 

Meanwhile, the occupant of the other involved vehicle remained unharmed. 

No further details regarding the US 95 head-on collision have been released to the public. Blythe Officials will provide more information once available, an active investigation is currently underway.
