Being of Filipino descent, Andre Guerrero is particularly aware of the devastation caused by Typhoon Haiyan. The massive typhoon hit the Philippines on Nov. 6; current death tolls are reaching 4,000, with more than 1,000 people still missing and at least 12,000 injured, according to the Associated Press.

The chef and owner of the Oinkster and Maximiliano is holding a fundraiser all this weekend, bringing back his popular pork adobo burger, originally an homage to his Filipino heritage. The burger was previously available only during Burger Week and as a burger of the month last November.

On Saturday, Nov. 16, and Sunday, Nov. 17, all proceeds from sales of the pork adobo burger at the Oinkster will go to the Red Cross' Philippines relief efforts. Maximiliano will match whatever funds are raised.

Guererro also urges you to consider sending direct donations to the Red Cross for typhoon relief.
