Weekly and New Yorker cartoonist Bruce Eric Kaplan has written (and drawn) a funny new book, Every Person On the Planet: An Only Somewhat Anxiety-Filled Tale for the Holidays (Simon & Schuster, 118 pages, $12 hardback).

Paul Krassner is back (actually he never went away, except to Palm Springs) with
a new collection that includes four pieces from the Weekly. It's called
One Hand Jerking: Reports From an Investigative Satirist (Seven Stories
Press, 320 pages, $17 paperback), and features a foreword by Harry Shearer and
an introduction by Lewis Black.
