Casino Angeleno: All in for LA!

The Junior League of Los Angeles is hosting a casino night complete with Texas Hold'em tournaments and food from Osteria Firenze, Waterloo & City, and Susie Cakes. There will be an open bar with selections from labels like Stella Artois, Naked Grape Wines, and American Revolution Vodka. All proceeds wil got toward projects and programs of the Junior Leage of Los Angeles.

WHAT: Casino Angeleno: All in for LA!

WHEN: Saturday, April 27, 6:30 p.m.-11:30 p.m.

WHERE: Petersen Auto Museum, 6060 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles; (323) 930-2277.

COST: $100 per person

Taste of the Eastside

It's the third annual celebration of food and drink in the neighborhoods of Silver Lake, Echo Park, Eagle Rock, Highland Park, Los Felize, Atwater, etc. Thirty-plus restaurants and purveyors like Little Dom's, Good Girl Dinette, Heirloom LA, SQIRL Jams, and The Park are scheduled to participate. All proceeds from the event will benefit local non-profit organizations like Sustain LA, SEE-LA, and the Barnsdall Art Park Foundation.

WHAT: Taste of the Eastside

WHEN: Sunday, April 28, 1 p.m.-5 p.m. (VIP ticket holders can enter at noon)

WHERE: Barnsdall Art Park, 4800 Hollywood Blvd., Los Angeles; (323) 660-4254.

COST: For general admission, it's $50 advance; $60 on the day of event. For VIP tickets, it's $65 advance; $75 on the day of event.
