The LA Art Show opened its doors last Wednesday night at the South Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center, with opening night proceeds benefiting St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. We spotted both contemporary artists, galleries and auction houses with pieces from historical artists like Picasso, M.C. Escher, Warhol and Georges Seurat, to figures of the current age like Luke Chueh, Olivia De Berardinis, Gronk and Paulien Huizinga.

Some of the most impressive finds were the new Deluxe Diamond Dust Fine Art prints, done by Olivia De Berardinis for Sideshow; the Sue Wong retrospective, with the ability to see up close and personal couture spanning her entire career; the M.C. Escher retrospective that took over a large portion of the show floor; Dutch photographer Paulien Huizinga; the psychedelic bunny world of artist Don Joint; and Oscar-winner Kazu Hiro’s giant lifelike busts, which fascinated celebrities like Charlize Theron and Cameron Monaghan.
