20-Year-Old Victim Pronounced Dead after Auto Collision near Slide Road

LUBBOCK, TX (March 25, 2024)Mirely Ordaz died late Saturday night in a car crash at the 5200 block of 114th Street. The incident occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m., near Slide Road.

According to reports, Ordaz was ejected from a moving vehicle, sustaining severe injuries. Paramedics promptly responded and took the 20-year-old victim to University Medical Center for urgent care. Meanwhile, the driver involved in the incident remains unidentified.
