You knew this was coming, right? Because in a world where you now have bakeries for dogs and bakeries for people that also sell dog treats, in addition to the stuff that we already take for granted (dog parks, dog sweaters), it was only a matter of time before there was an actual food truck for dogs.

Milo's Kitchen, yes, a food trucks for dogs, will be in town as part of a national tour, starting this Thursday, July 3, and extending through the holiday weekend. Where? Guess. The three announced stops (there will be more), are at the Airport Dog Park, the Redondo Beach dog park and the Huntington dog beach. ]

While parked at the dog parks and beaches, Milo's Kitchen will be giving out free dog treats in flavors including Chicken Meatball and Grilled Burger Bites. The treats are made with domestically-sourced meat and no artificial colors or flavors. Okay, they may not be as good as the dog biscuits Sherry Yard makes or the ones at McCall's Meat & Fish, but they're in a truck. At a dog park. Where your dog can happily and legally hang out. And they're free.

Milo's Kitchen is visiting 15 cities across the country. The truck was previously in San Francisco, and will be heading on to Orange County and San Diego, then Phoenix, Chicago, Detroit and further east.

While your dog is getting free stuff, you can also take a free “doggie selfie” (not kidding; and no, this is decidedly not our term for this) at a “professional canine-ready photo booth.” Your dog will also have the chance to hang out with other dogs and dog owners, and play with toys and other stuff the truck will reportedly be bringing for the visitors. The dogs, that is. There's also a lounge. Yes, a lounge. I don't know, just go get your dog. Whatever it is, it'll be way more fun than being dragged around your block again.

The schedule is below, with additional stops being announced via @MilosKitchen. Although the truck will generally be in one location, it will be moving around and the schedule is still variable – so check the Twitter feed before setting out.
