Social media has become an integral part of our lives, especially for the younger generation. While platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter offer numerous benefits in terms of connectivity and communication, they also pose significant risks, particularly for children and teenagers. The unchecked use of social media can expose young users to various dangers, including cyberbullying, inappropriate content, online predators, and mental health consequences.

Recognizing the need for a solution that balances safety with privacy, David Froscheiser, an experienced entrepreneur and father of three daughters, founded Socialeyez. Socialeyez is a revolutionary social media monitoring program designed to empower parents to keep their children safe online without compromising their trust or invading their privacy. By leveraging advanced monitoring technology, issue-specific content and resources,  and a collaborative approach between parents and children, Socialeyez aims to address the growing concerns surrounding social media use among young users.

Froscheiser’s concerns as a parent are deeply rooted in his personal experiences and observations. Despite his daughters being too young for social media at the time, he foresaw the inevitable reality of them eventually joining these platforms. This anticipation fueled his determination to find a better solution than what was currently available in the market. His primary goal was to create a tool that would enable parents to keep their children safe online without resorting to spying technologies or invasive and/or overly controlling methods.

“The conceptual philosophy of Socialeyez was that we would keep the trust factor between the parent and child and not try to invade that relationship in a negative manner,” explains Froscheiser.

Before founding Socialeyez, Froscheiser’s diverse background spanned various industries and roles. With a career spanning over 20 years, he initially began his professional journey in financial services and insurance, where he later specialized in commercial insurance and risk management.

However, Froscheiser’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to explore opportunities outside his primary field. In 2008, he ventured into entrepreneurship, establishing and investing in several successful logistics, agriculture, and retail businesses. One of his notable ventures includes an agricultural company that became one of the country’s earliest and largest cage-free egg production facilities.

Joining Froscheiser is Paul Garnett, a distinguished businessman and entrepreneur with an impressive track record spanning over 45 years. Throughout his career, Garnett has held simultaneous roles, including financial advisor, investment strategist, small business owner, venture capitalist, and agricultural entrepreneur.

Garnett’s commitment to community engagement and economic development is evident through his active involvement in numerous boards and organizations. He served as Chairman of the Gage County Economic Development Corporation for 24 years and has been recognized for his leadership efforts in fostering economic growth.

As a key member of the Socialeyez team, Garnett brings extensive expertise in business management, strategic planning, corporate governance, and community engagement. His wealth of experience and leadership skills make him an invaluable asset in driving the success of the company.

Rounding out the team is Dr. Meghan Marnell, a seasoned pediatric health psychologist with a background in clinical settings. Currently employed in private practice, Dr. Marnell provides psychological assessment and therapy services to children and adults in the Texas panhandle. Prior to opening her own practice in 2023, Dr. Marnell worked at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center-Amarillo, where she was involved in consultation and provided therapy to youth and young adults in outpatient pediatric specialty clinics.

Dr. Marnell’s passion for helping children extends beyond her clinical work, as she also contributes to community organizations and served on the board of the Amarillo Area Association of Mental Health Providers. Her commitment to child advocacy and mental health makes her a valuable addition to the Socialeyez team.

As Chief Clinical Officer, Dr. Marnell oversees the development of educational content and ensures that Socialeyez utilizes current research in child development and parenting interventions. Her expertise in pediatric psychology and commitment to ethical research standards play a vital role in shaping the company’s approach to promoting online safety for children and families.

The diverse backgrounds of Socialeyez’s management team underscore the company’s commitment to innovation and expertise in addressing complex issues related to online safety. Froscheiser’s entrepreneurial spirit and expertise in risk management, coupled with Garnett’s extensive business acumen and community engagement, provide a strong foundation for the company’s success. Dr. Marnell’s background in pediatric psychology further enhances Socialeyez’s ability to develop evidence-based solutions that prioritize the mental and emotional well-being of young users.

With a clear mission, strong leadership, and a commitment to collaboration, Socialeyez is poised to make a significant impact in promoting online safety and protecting the well-being of young users worldwide. To learn more, visit www.socialeyez.io.
