50-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Crash near Garlock Road
MOJAVE, CA (January 10, 2024) – Mary Leechelle Love died Monday morning in a head-on collision on Redrock Randsburg Road just west of Garlock Road.
At approximately 8:36 p.m., an incident transpired just west of Garlock Road. Preliminary investigations reveal that the driver of a westbound white Mercedes collided with an eastbound white Hyundai, resulting in fatal injuries for the female Hyundai driver at the crash site.
The Kern County Coroner’s Office later identified the deceased driver as 50-year-old Love from Ridgecrest. Concurrently, Love’s passenger and the Mercedes driver were transported to a hospital to address significant injuries. Authorities have ruled out drugs and alcohol as contributing factors to the collision.
