Turns out the Obamas' holiday card this year was designed by L.A. artist Mark Matuszak.

It's cozy and apropos, featuring First Dog Bo chillin' like a villain in front of a White House fireplace. Good work, Mark.

Except that even if President Obama were to bring back Jesus Christ himself to then turnaround the economy with a bolt of lightening and give us all $5,000 tax refund checks there would still be haters. Like this one:

Sarah Palin.

Yeah, she no likey, calling the card “odd.”

What's not to like?

Palin told Fox News that the card lacked traditional religious iconography such as …

… American foundational values illustrated and displayed on Christmas cards and on a Christmas tree.

She said a holiday card should reflect “”family, faith and freedom.”

The Obamas' card reads:

From our family to yours, may your holidays shine with the light of the season.

Shiny happy “holidays?”

Too neutral, huh?

Remember, Obama's a Democrat with many friends, like Matuszak, in L.A. You're lucky the card doesn't say, “May your Prius continue to bring you satisfying mileage and low emissions.”
