Stephen Wayne Palmatier Jr. Dead after Auto Collision on Shaumber Road

LAS VEGAS, NV (June 3, 2022) – Wednesday morning, Lisa Guerino was arrested after a fatal hit-and-run on Centennial Parkway.

The incident happened around 4:00 a.m., near Shaumber Road on June 1st. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

Per reports, a grey 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling west on Centennial Parkway approaching Shaumber. Meanwhile, a blue 2021 Volkswagen was traveling southbound on Shaumber.

For reasons unknown, the Jeep driver failed to stop at the stop sign and hit the Volkswagen.

The front passenger of the Volkswagen, 37-year-old Stephen Wayne Palmatier Jr., was pronounced dead on the scene.

Meanwhile, two others sustained injuries. A 3-year-old boy suffered extreme wounds and a 6-year-old girl suffered minor injuries.

Guerino, the Jeep driver, attempted to flee the scene. However, officers later located and took her into custody. At this time, an active investigation into the crash is still underway.
