Two Pronounced Dead after Semi-Truck Accident near West Shields Avenue

FRESNO COUNTY, CA (October 26, 2022) – Monday afternoon, Leslie Boston and Fatimah Rambo were killed in a big-rig crash on Russell Avenue.

The fatal accident happened around 4:30 p.m., near Russell and West Shields Avenue. 

According to reports, the driver of a Toyota failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection. As a result, a passing big-rig struck the Toyota.

The two occupants inside the Toyota died at the scene. Authorities later identified the deceased victims as 64-year-old Boston, and 35-year-old Rambo.

Meanwhile, medics transported the driver of the Toyota to a nearby hospital for treatment of significant injuries. Meanwhile, the big-rig driver remained unharmed.

No further details have been released to the public. However, Fresno County Officials will provide more information once available.
