1-Year-Old Child Killed in SUV Accident near Broadway Road

PHOENIX, AZ (April 10, 2024)Legend Hayes died Sunday afternoon in a pedestrian crash on 48th Street and Broadway Road. The incident occurred at approximately 3:00 p.m., on April 7th.

Pe reports, the family member of Hayes inadvertently moved an SUV after returning home from an errand, colliding with the toddler on the property. Authorities also mention that the driver had noticed Hayes inside the house before moving the vehicle.

The toddler, identified as 1-year-old Hayes, sustained life-threatening injuries and was rushed to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
