Tiny heartstrings began to slowly unwind as the news of infidelity and ultimate betrayal mixed  with a sudden rush of epiphany smacked the mother of three’s life upside down.

“I couldn’t believe what was happening, how do I not show my kids I am hurting, I had to leave and be with my emotions so I could gather myself. When I realized I felt I needed to ask permission to go out of town, I said f*ck It, I’m not doing that,” explains Mindset Coach and Holistic Nutritionist, Janna Johnson.

“Instead, I just took a play out of his book. I booked an airbnb and had my mom set up to help with the kids. Then I told him my plans and that the kids were covered — and I left. I knew he didn’t care about me leaving, it granted him freedom.”

Driving down an empty road, alone — feeling a slight pinch of freedom for the first time, the born and bred Texan headed toward a town littered with lengthy, barren silence. Cut from modern technology, the only emotions left were a bundle of painful ones — on the verge of shattering.

At this moment, she knew she had to let them overwhelm her during the palpitating nine-hour trip.

Clouded with betrayal and pain, the devastating darkness soon dispersed as a flicker of hope emerged, carrying a powerful message. “That was where I learned forgiveness,” says Johnson. “Forgiveness is not for the other person. Forgiveness is for yourself. This was the beginning of me shattering my limited mindset.”

But this wasn’t the first time Johnson came face-to-face with the understanding of her mind’s limiting beliefs.

In fact, with over a year’s worth of wondering why she felt imprisoned within her vessel {that had ‘seemingly’ lost control over all governance}, plus 14 doctors later — all relaying multiple incorrect diagnoses, the answers only led to more treatments with few solutions.

From endless days suffering from severe brain fog causing derealization, panic attacks, severe anxiety, confusion, fatigue, severe depression, and more, it wasn’t until she was diagnosed to face a long road lined with “chronic Lyme disease, hypothyroidism, major gut issues” that things began to change.

But there was one more painful season she had to endure in order to uncover her true self and purpose. After 14 years of marriage, emotional and mental narcissistic manipulation, she admits that through her separation, “it was that heartbreak that was worse than Lyme disease ever was.” An event that brought Janna to her knees — marking the final catalyst in her relationship’s closing chapter.

However, as soon as Johnson said yes to herself on the day of purging those self-deprecating thoughts, everything else started to fall into place. A transformation that gave her the power to live the life she was meant to live.

“Most people live their lives being held back by their limiting beliefs formed during childhood,” shares Johnson. “You can unf*ck your mind by shattering each one, which breaks these invisible chains that hold you back.”

“Mine had to do with never feeling good enough, never feeling approved of or loved, leading to horrible relationships and making wrong choices,” she adds. “I was constantly trying to fill these voids with quicksand. But by changing my thought process, my actions changed. I ended up healing myself 100%.”

This burst of truth revealed a pulsing passion towards her calling — that regaining control of her health and life enabled her to help others do the same.

‘I have been on the dark side of health, and I understand what it is like to feel hopeless, helpless, and not know where to start,” says Johnson. ”I successfully overcame those illnesses, against all odds, using the same tools I now teach others.”

Lyme disease and overcoming it is what led Janna to becoming a Holistic Nutritionist. It was years later, earth shattering heartbreak, a divorce, and the discovery that she had been dealing with narcissistic abuse, that led Janna on the path of healing her mindset and learning how to communicate with a narcissist. More explicitly, coaching others on how to understand narcissists.

To help others understand the subtle signs, Johnson, a renowned narcissistic behavior mediator, emphasizes the importance of knowing how the collective of egomaniacs functions.

“You have to know that every single move a narcissist makes is 100% them looking for some sort of reaction that will feed into the outcome they are seeking or they are needing you to play a part in their life to create the image they want for themselves,” she explains. “They either want praise or try to instigate you for an argument. So what a narcissist does is they want to learn all about your past — the love bombing stage.”

“But they do that because that’s how they reel you in. So, when the individual gets to know you, your past becomes their playground, where every bit of it goes against you. Then, when the narcissist can’t control you, they tear you down and emotionally abuse you, almost like they want to see you hurt.”

Naturally, we are programmed to defend ourselves in these situations, but for Johnson, the tools she teaches through her coaching practice Revive by Janna, are to do the opposite. Aka, “don’t react, disengage, or don’t engage, that’s it”.

The trick is to avoid playing into a narcissist’s game. Through various communication styles and techniques, Johnson’s expert courses and one-to-one’s will expose you to tools that will teach you how to disengage from their manipulations.

“You have the path of staying the victim and being scared, and then you have the path of saying yes to yourself and going after your dreams and desires. And it’s all there for you. It’s waiting, but you just have to get to the door.  The path that leads you to those doors are uncovered as you choose to overcome and learn the lessons that each tough season brings you,” says Johnson.

Alongside her niche and impressive wealth of knowledge in gut health, healing Lyme, and motivation, her expertise in mindset truly sets her apart. Not to mention, Johnson has the power to guide you toward smashing limiting beliefs and embracing the art of surrender.

“That’s my truth. That’s what I’ve overcome. And I just believe that if I can instill that and teach others that, those are the f*cking keys to freedom,” she concludes.

As a #1 best-selling author in humanistic psychology and #1 new release in women’s health, her gripping revival book Unf*ck Your Mind dives deep into the come-up story of a victim turned victor whose limiting beliefs held her back. But today, her inspiring rise to empowerment “illustrates how healing is the key to unlocking a life of abundance and purpose.” So, as you turn the pages, prepare to feel the fire within you ignite.

After all, now is the time for your revelation.
